Inspector notes: Observed employee wear single-use gloves while working with ready-to-eat food (cooked chicken), once finished, he then grabbed his phone out of his pocket to check on something. CA: single-use gloves shall be used for only one task such as working with ready-to-eat food or with raw animal food, used for no other purpose, and discarded when damaged or soiled, or when interruptions occur in the operation. COS: PIC reminded the employee that personal items such phones cannot be used while working in the kitchen. PIC also instructed the employee to wash their hands and put on new pair of gloves before proceeding with food preparations.
