Inspector notes: Observed major leak above the chicken batter prep station coming from the air conditioning unit. Manager had covered all food items with lids and flat pans to prevent leak from contaminating the food prep station. Manager was advised to completely move the batter station into a dry location to prevent contamination of food items. Manager moved the batter station into the walk in cooler and placed buckets on the floor to prevent water pooling onto the floor. During the inspection, the repairmen arrived to repair the a/c unit leak which was due to the a/c filters clogging and backing up the drains in the unit, per the repairman. Please send a repair invoice to keundra.golden@dph.ga.gov once repairs have been completed.
