Inspector notes: At time of inspection, sanitizer was not registering on test strips in the sanitizer compartment of the three-compartment sink, nor in the sanitizer water in the sanitizer buckets. Facility uses lactic acid sink/surface sanitizer and tested using their test strips (which do not expire until 2026) and no sanitizer registered. COS: PIC instructed employees to dump the sanitizer water from the three-compartment sink and from the sanitizer buckets and refill with bleach/water solution. PIC instructed employees to use bleach sanitizer solution for sanitization of dishes/equipment/surfaces, until a technician can repair the sanitizer system. PIC contacted the technician and he is scheduled to visit the facility on 9/10/2024.
