Inspector notes: No Person in Charge (PIC) present during the time of inspection. CA:There must be a person in charge on the premises of the food service establishment at all times. The person in charge shall ensure compliance with the following: Advised that a Person in Charge (PIC) must be present during all hours of operation to ensure active managerial control and compliance with food safety requirements.

Inspector notes: Previous inspection score was posted during the time of inspection. CA: 1. The most current inspection report shall be prominently displayed in public view at all times, within fifteen feet of the front or primary public door and between five feet and seven feet from the floor and in an area where it can be read at a distance of one foot away. Advised facility to post the most current inspection report in a public location visible to consumers.

Inspector notes: Observed PIC retrieve a bag of items, fail to wash hands, put on gloves, and begin preparing a smoothie. CA: 1. Food employees shall clean their hands and exposed portions of their arms immediately before engaging in food preparation including working with exposed food, clean equipment and utensils, and unwrapped single-service and single-use articles P and: (viii) Before donning gloves to initiate a task that involves working with food; P and (ix) After engaging in other activities that contaminate the hands. P Advised the employee to wash hands before donning gloves when initiating a task involving food preparation.

Inspector notes: Observed no hot water at the three-compartment sink. CA:511-6-1.06(1)(g),(h) - Water Supply, Capacity; Pressure (Pf) (g) Capacity. 2. Hot water generation and distribution systems shall be sufficient to meet the peak hot water demands throughout the food service establishment. Pf Advised PIC that hot water must be accessible and must be fixed within 10 calendar days.

Employees preparing or handling food shall use effective and clean, disposable or easily cleanable nets or other hair restraints approved by the Health Authority, worn properly to restrain loose hair including beards and mustaches longer than one half inch Advised employee to wear a hair restraint while preparing or handling food.
