Ice machine interior panel should be cleaned to remove buildup along edge. Mold/slime buildup should be cleaned and area sanitized to prevent contamination of ice that is used for consumption of customers.
Hand sink in front cash register area had sponge, cloth towels, and strainer stored in sink. Sink's hand soap dispenser was not dispensing soap today. Employee stated it works at times. Ensure that proper hand soap supply is available at all times for proper hand washing use. In kitchen, employee stated she washes hands in three compartment sink. Due to this, a hand sink is needed to be installed in kitchen area in order to ensure proper hand washing is occuring. Please call inspector to discuss
Hand washing is being performed at three compartment sink. Ensure that hand washing is only done hand washing sinks.
When employee was asked to remove cloth towels, sponge, and strainer from hand sink, in order for inspector to wash their hands, items were placed on floor under table. Ensure to not place items used for service on floor. All wares, foods, drinks, etc should be stored 6 inches or more off floor.
Observed some foods being stored in non food grade containers. Ensure that all foods are stored in food grade containers only.
Drain pipe from mop sink should gave a visible air gap betwee end of drain pipe and floor drain level. Ensure that air gap is twice the size of pipe's diameter and allows for proper flow and direction of sewage water into drain.
